Privacy

Stayshot is a static website. Image conversion happens in your browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly. We do not operate a file-processing server. We do not create user accounts.

What we do not collect

What stays on your device

The free-conversion counter and an optional “unlimited in this browser” flag are stored in localStorage. If you type an email on the pricing page before Stripe exists, that address is also stored only in localStorage unless you choose to send it with mailto. Clearing site data removes it. That is not a server-side profile.

Hosting and logs

The site is intended to run on Cloudflare Pages. Like any HTTPS host, the CDN may retain ordinary request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) for security and operations. Those logs are not your image files. We do not use them to identify you.

Cookies and ads

Stayshot itself does not set tracking cookies. We may show Google ads. If AdSense is enabled, Google may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com. This privacy page never shows ads.

When ads go live we will add a short cookie notice. Until the AdSense environment variables are set, no ad script is loaded.

Legal basis (GDPR)

For the website itself, serving static pages is our legitimate interest in providing a free tool. Conversion data is not transferred to us. If you email hello@stayshot.app, we process that correspondence to reply (contract / legitimate interest). You can ask us to delete emails we hold.
